Swaddles that you liked?

If you swaddled, did you use a blanket or a specific sleep sac? If you did and liked it, where did you get it from?

I used a cheap swaddle sac from Amazon (a leke baby one) with my twins. It’s been good so far, but it doesn’t fit round them well any more. I ordered a larger size which said it was for 3-6 months, but although it has more leg room the bits that wrap over the chest arent any longer so it barely does up on one twin and doesn’t at all for the other.

Looking for recommendation for a replacement. Twins are about 12lb each, I was hoping to swaddle them for at least a few months more as they punch each other in the face when they startle!

I used a cot sheet, cut in half along the short edge to make two very long, think rectangles of material as two swaddles.

I used Love To Dream swaddle bags because my DS liked his arms up by his head but also liked being swaddled. They were fab!

I'll second Love To Dream, my little guy liked his arms up too! They're a pricey new, but there's loads on eBay

Love to dream here too. DS always managed to wiggle free in others.

Love to dream here too. Both of mine liked to suck on the little wings.

Just to throw a spanner in the works, mine hated the Love To Dream ones. The zip always seemed to bunch up under his chin and annoy him. I bought a couple of them because everyone raved about them and had the same issue.

A miracle blanket was a complete game changer for us when DS was tiny. It is completely inescapable (basically a baby straitjacket). Then when he was a bit bigger I just used extra large muslins. I got some Aden and Anais ones on sale and when he stopped being swaddled I used them as bedsheets. DS is 14 months now and still strokes his muslin "sheet" to help him settle in his cot.
