My little boy is 9 months old, from 6 weeks he slept in his cot and slept through... we have hit a wall. He had a stay in hospital three weeks ago with fibula convulsions where he fitted... was very scary but he is perfectly fine now. I have gone back to work so I am quite tired and his bedtime routine has gone out of the window..
He will not sleep in his cot anymore he cries and screams as soon as I put him down and won’t stop until I pick him up again.
If he falls asleep nursing or in my arms or my partners arms he wakes straight back up as soon as you move him- used to be quite a deep sleeper but he isn’t now...
Once he is in bed with me and my partner he falls straight back to sleep and sleeps fine but we don’t get the best nights sleep with him in our bed... feels like he cannot be alone and needs to know we are there which is strange he’s always been quite an independent baby and enjoys nursery.
We aren’t getting anytime to ourselves or a comfortable nights sleep. He was doing so well but I feel like we have taken a massive step back as he just will not go back in his cot 😩😩😩 any advice would be great!
We will try anything!!
