When did your baby /child drop down to one nap a day?

DS is 10 months old. For a while, he's been having two decent naps a day (about 1.5 hours each). However the last few days it's all gone to pot and he seems to be needing less naps.

When did your baby/child drop down to one nap a day? How long was it for and what time of day?

We kept 2 naps until 20-22 months old.

At 10 months it is unlikely your baby is ready to drop the morning nap happily. If you are struggling with the second nap, try limiting the length if the morning nap to 45 minutes.

My son dropped his about 12/13 months, this was similar for my friends child who is the same age. He just has a 2 hour nap each day now. He's 21 months.

We did 2/3/4 method at this age. So up for two hours in the morning then a short nap for about 50 minutes, then stays up for three hours and has long nap for up to 2 hours, then up for four hours then bed.

Around 13 months. However we chose to do it rather than it happening naturally and it was a bit of a struggle: iirc it took us 3 weeks of very firm routine, and 11.30am lunches to get her used to it.

Mine did not nap until she walked...at 1 year old. 1 nap a day. Bliss.

My twins dropped a morning nap by 11 months. They're now 16 months and although occasionally they'll have 2 hours in the afternoon, it can be as little as 40 mins, and very rarely not at all. They just do not like sleeping.

About 10 months. She does do nearly 14 hours at night tho. She has one nap from 11ish of anything between 30 mins and 2 hours.

15mo can get by on one nap. I do like to try him with two on the days he's at home with me, even if it's just 20 mins in the morning to take the edge off. He sleeps a good 12 hours solid at night though which does help.
