My 9mo DD2 still wakes up every 3-4hrs at night. I’m exhausted and sleep deprived, desperate to know if I’m doing something wrong. My DD1 was a great night sleeper and could sleep through since she was 6 mo.
Any suggestions welcomed.
Her usual day looks as follows:
Breakfast: 7:30-8:00 baby porridge plus milk (she only takes maybe 90ml of milk, sometimes less)
She naps between 10:30-11:00 sometimes goes a bit longer till 12:00 if my DD1 is quiet enough
After nap she gets a bottle but only takes about 90ml, then lunch at 1:30 pm - usually meat with veg- but she is not a good eater. If her morning nap was shorter she would nap again between 2:00 and 3:00, sometimes goes till 3:30 pm and she gets her milk after she wakes up between 3:30 and 4pm ( usually she takes around 120ml). We have dinner between 5:00-5:30 - she gets her from age fraud and a bit of food my DD1 gets, and we get ready for bed at 6:30pm - she drinks 210ml at 6:30-7:00pm and goes to sleep. Sleeps till 10:30pm, gets 210ml and wakes up again at 2:30am - sometimes takes the whole 200ml of premix milk, sometimes takes few sips and refuses to drink more, but doesn’t fall asleep.
I’m really struggling, with my older DD1 (2.5 yo) not sleeping through the day anymore I’m like walking dead, exhausted. Trying to catch up on some sleep when their daddy can do night feeds but it’s not enough.
Is she not getting enough food during the day? But I don’t feel she would take more anyway. She gets so distracted with what her sister is doing that feeding her is a nightmare.
Any suggestions welcomed.
Ps: she is teething and she started standing up couple of weeks ago, but i don’t know whether this matters or not.
