Hello wise mumsnetters,
Please offer a FTM some help. My little one was initially a good sleeper waking just 1 or 2 times a night for a feed.
She is now waking after her initial first long stretch of sleep every hour. What do I do to help her sleep better?
She goes to bed 6pm-7pm. I rock/bounce her to sleep and normally have to resettle her three times at 20 min intervals until she's properly asleep. She will then sleep until 12.30am/1am/1.30am when she wakes for a feed.
From then onwards she wakes every hour. She's been pooing at about 3am/4am and so I end up having to do a nappy change which wakes her up and then I end up bringing her into our bed and feeding her to sleep so we can just get some sleep.
So, what's going on? I don't always feed her when she wakes hourly. How can I get back to her just waking once or twice a night?
It may or may not be relevant but she's just learnt to roll from back to front.
Help us to get more sleep...
TIA
