What kind of blackouts do you have?

I'm moving back to my mum's for a few months soon and trying to think of the least annoying window blackout option.

She has good thick curtains but they are the kind with eyes/rings which go directly onto a pole, so the waves in the curtain let the light in. She also has net curtains on a wire rod thing right on the frame.

I don't think a roller blind will work as it's too intrusive (requiring screws).

So what are the options? What do you have and does it work for you?

We have a Gro Anywhere Blind for holidays/ staying with family. Sticks to window with suction cups and has Velcro to adjust to different size windows. Seems to work pretty well.

If you are looking for something temporary then tin foil works well. Or as previous poster mentioned, you can get travel blackout blinds that Valero to the windows.

We also have the gro anywhere blind and keep it on throughout the summer. It's really good and much more effective than the blackout roller blinds and curtains we've tried,

As long as the window isn't too large (it is at my parents house), the gro anywhere blind is fantastic and good value from Amazon/John Lewis

We have a gro anywhere blind, black out roller blind and black out curtains. It's pretty dark in DD's room Grin

Seriously though, I highly recommend the gro blind. Great investment.

We have the gro anywhere blind too with blackout rollers and blackout curtains. They are really good. Might get one for my room so I can have a lie in Grin
