Sleep

Frequent night waking

13 month old DS was sleeping through from around 7pm until 6.30 which was brilliant. Then all of a sudden around 2 weeks ago he seems to have gone on sleep strike! He goes to sleep around 7.15 but is waking pretty much every 45 mins! We've resorted to sleeping on his bedroom floor just to get some rest. Anyone got any ideas what could be causing this?

I assumed it was teething, but he's fine during the day, would this usually be the case? Yes he had his injections about 3 week ago so I don't think it's that Sad

When pain is low-level, which teething can be, it might only affect nights and not days.

When the pain is all-consuming, it will obviously be day and night.

But if it's just background pain, all of the distractions available during the daytime mean that it can go mostly unnoticed.

Ah seems that could be it then. I've got some teething granules, should I try him with those before bed?

My daughter is 7 months, and up untill a week ago i have swaddled her. But she is now rolling over so dont like the idea of her being swaddled. But latley she wakes what feels every 20minutes. Due to her arms flapping all over the place, I have no sleep at all and its driving me insane :(
