Mamaroo - lifesaver for swing hating baby or waste of money?

My 2mth old sleeps happily in cot at night but HATES it during the day. Also hates and refuses to nap in buggy, bouncy chair, swing or in my arms. Only place acceptable is in a sling, which was fine until I damaged my back and have to stop carrying her as much.

So my question is has anyone had sucess with the eye wateringly expensive mamaroo for their swing hating baby?
I have tried it out in the shop but it's not the same as at home (which is busy and chaotic with older children so I haven't the time or patience to persevere with Cot during day at this point)

Honest thoughts please (I'd buy second hand although someone said the 2015 model onwards is faster??)

Big thank yous

Could you try wrapping her tight and tucking an old fashioned ticking clock somewhere nearby?

Like the clock idea thank you, swaddling and dummy with white noise works a treat at night but during day she just lies there for hours awake!!! Think it's motion thing

For ours it was breathing :) You just had to breath deeply and slowly next to them (as if you were asleep) and they dropped off no bother. Trial and error - no idea about the thing you are talking about though - things like that weren't around that much when mine were babies. :)

Good luck.
