Tried it for the first time tonight and my daughter fell asleep towards the end of the book without the usual hand holding she normally needs. She's not awful at going to sleep usually, it usually takes half an hour including a few requests for more milk, whichever parent isn't doing the bedtime routine and sometimes a distraught request for a random toy she's not acknowledged for a few months! But I know that it could be a lot worse. She just struggles to stay asleep and will consistently wake up in the night.

I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with this book with it helping your LO to STAY asleep rather than just getting them to sleep...?

How old is she and did it work?

Unfortunately not. It did help her get to sleep so for anyone who has trouble getting their LO to sleep I'd say it's definitely worth a try (I felt pretty sleepy by the end too!) but she still woke up through the night.Confused

Still looking for the magic solution to make her sleep through the night until a reasonable hour - 4am is not morning!!!

It worked for my DS in combination with the grow clock (stay in bed until the sun). It took a while to work properly. We have it on audiobook and he listens to it every night after his usual stories. He was a nightmare and used to wake up lots before. I still have to go in and reassure him occasionally but in general he sleeps much better than he did.
