Routine ruined

So my 7 month old is in a routine or so I thought...

Dd wakes up has breakfast and around 2 - 3 hours after waking she has a nap for another 2 hours. Dad's second nap during the day is 4 she normally naps again for 1.5 or 2 hours and then is asleep in bed by seven. But for the last week, she has thought screw my routine I'm going to play havoc with mummy. So now she's is missing her afternoon nap, I've tried everything and is going to bed at 8:30pm after a lot of struggle. Has anyone experienced this? What can I do, I've tried everything I can think or includi. Lullabys, CDs, letting her cry, cuddles, silence, feeds etc etc the list goes on.

In need of urgent help or I'm sure my remaining sanity will be gone!

I would think about changing the routine. My DD's routine was constantly changing for the first year and this was always how she'd act when I needed to change.
Can't remember what she was like at seven months but I'd suggest a shorter morning nap and then move the second one to over lunchtime. Maybe from 1-3?

Ditto small bee. Maybe try and cut short the morning nap, longer nap after lunch etc.. Oh but I am soooo jealous, my 7.5 mo still only naps for 35 mins. His routine changes daily really. It is hard to keep up with them. You think you've cracked it and then they go and change :)

Mine done exact same thing at 8 months. I've changed her routine. Babe has breakfast goes to sleep around 10.30 or 11 sleeps for as long as she wants usually 1 or 2 hours. Then has maximum of 30 mins never let her sleep passed 5. So if she only gets 15 mins in afternoon that's all she gets. Never passed 5 and goes down at 7

Took a few days and I have to wake her in the afternoon nap but it's working

She was doing exactly what yours was doing

Thank you! Flowers

I know, when you finally have a routine and think "hmm maybe st this time I can spend an extra fifteen minutes in a bubble bath, or am have a cup of tea before it gets cold" then they go a throw things up in the air Blush
