Help!

What can I do! He is wide awake! Not tired in the slightest and quite happy just chatting away to himself in bed!

If he is happy then let him get on with it. Did he nap for too long in the day?

My 24 month old does this a lot! If she's not crying I just leave her to chat/play in her cot.

Leave and monitor. If he works through his chats, he will probably nod off again once he's ready, if he sees you he might think 'moooooorning!!!'

My DS (22 months] wakes between 1.30-2.30am every night recently and becomes irate/upset so needs attention. He won't settle, he too is wide awake but won't be left alone so he comes to bed with me. He rolls, crawls, flumps around, headbutt my sore boobs (pregnant), wriggles around, sighs, talks, pats me.

Honestly, I'm so sick of it. I'm a sahm so he's at with me all day then half the night, poking and rolling on me Sad

Sorry for hijack Flowers

Oh Moohoo are you me??

I work PT nights so only away from DS for those two nights and also pregnant but due to go on mat leave soon- all day DS rolls all over me pulls at me jumps on me etc etc and now is up half the night doing it too!! I need some personal space! Those two nights at work are bliss Blush.

He eventually nodded off at 4.30 when I brought him into our bed .

But now we are probably stuck in a cycle as we both slept till 3pm today! I was just so exhausted from trying to get him to sleep and he didn't wake till then!

I'm stuffed aren't I!

Yes it's all about the personal space or lack thereof. It's feeling like he is clamouring at me, desperate for something and I can't help but think...what? What do you actually want? I'm right here! Do you need to scratch my chin and nip my neck to fall asleep??? It's exhauting but the days do make up for it, his wee cheeky face, him singing wheels on the bus into a duplo microphone, his manic and bizarre attempts to bounce on a bouncy castle, oh he's lovely but just stay asleeeeeeeeep!!
