Hi, I posted the other day asking advice about how to make the cot more cosy for 6 month DD. I caved last night though and put her back in the Moses basket and she slept sooooo much better.

Somebody mentioned to me that I could get a toddle pod for her and use that in the cot for her to sleep in. I've had a look and can see that it could work. She loves being snug in the Moses basket and she slept well in the sleepyhead before she outgrew it. Has anyone had a toddle pod and do you think it would help DD to feel snug and secure. She just doesn't like the openness And space of the cot, I think she likes to feel like she's still being cuddled in someone's arms!

I have one and DS loves it. I'm not sure if it's approved for overnight sleeping, but it's meant he naps better. DS is a big 7mo, and I'm not too sure how much longer he's going to be comfortable in it though. We've been looking at the sleepyhead grand for in his cot, but it seems very expensive.

I have one, used it pretty solidly for my baby's daytime naps (back when he'd conk out anywhere) around 1-2 months so I could have him downstairs with me. Now I have started him napping properly in his cot. As Becky says I would wonder how much longer a six month old would fit in it. My four month old will still fit it in but can kind of kick off the bottom and shove himself backward.

Maybe try a rolled up towel in horseshoe shape under the cot sheet to make it more cosy for your baby?
