DS1 has just turned 12 wks and was previously going 8pm to 1.30am and then to 5.30am. In fact he did this from about 4 weeks give or take.

Now he's added a couple of extra wake-ups for food and I am knackered......it's been the last 3 nights and I need more sleep. He only catnaps for 30-40 mins during the day too so I can't really catch up then.

I'm assuming it's a growth spurt but I guess I just wanted to hear some stories of this being short lived to keep me going!

DD2 is 11 weeks and we're in the same situation, had even had a few 7-8 hour stints but now having 1.5-3 hour stints. I checked out wonder weeks (do you know it?) and there is one at 11-12 weeks so hopefully that's what we're going through and it'll pass soon :) (fingers crossed, touch wood etc! )

That happened to me at 12 weeks too, he was up nearly every hour and a half. It was tough!

A few days to a week then I implemented a dream feed. First night it made no difference then second and third night he slept till 4! He's back waking up at 1 tho now.

Are you doing dream feed?

my baby did this. he went from sleeping 11 - 6ish to waking every 1.5-2 hours. it nearly broke me as it lasted until he was almost 6 months. thankfully it did pass, and he is now sleeping from 7pm-ish to 7am-ish with one feed around 4am. you will get through it!

We tried a dream feed before all this happened and it made no difference at all. In fact it seemed to make him wake more. Nothing to lose trying it again mind you!

I tried it before and it made no difference but I've been doing it again since last week. It hasn't made him sleep through - he still wakes at 1-2 and 4-5 but he doesn't wake every other hour like he was doing.
