Hiya- DS is 7 weeks old and for the last week every morning he's woke up at 5am crying. Regardless of wether I've fed him an hour before or he's due a feed in the next hour.

WHY?! am I destined to start my day at this time forever. Does he sense the sunrise or something?

Well it's the first day of spring today. He's in tune!

On a less flippant note, a blackout blind is a good investment in time for the summer.

We have blackout curtains and a blackout blind in his room.

Babies sleep really lightly after about 4am- could he be hearing something at that time each day? Heating clicking on (gurgly radiators)? Milkman? Clutching at straws probably... My dd wakes out of habit about 4/5 before usually putting herself back to sleep after a grizzle but she's 15 wks and I'd say your LO is too young to be a habitual waker?
