My 2 year old wont sleep and still wants a bottle

My son is 2 years old and has never slept through the night. Its my own fault really for not getting him into a proper routine when he was a baby! He goes to bed around 7ish and I have to stay with him until he falls asleep, he wont sleep unless he has milk, We got rid of his baby bottle a while ago and he drinks it out a sippy cup. After watching something on the tv he falls asleep but after a few hours he's up crying again for another drink.If tried giving hik water or sugar free diluting juice instead of milk but he just screams until he gets milk! He's up at least 4 or 5 times a night sometimes more and giving in and giving him milk is the easiest option when your so tired.. he also comes into my bed after the first time he wakes up. My partner works nights so im by myself at nighttime and im a student at college 4 days a week. Im due our second child in july and im at my wits end on what to do please help!!

You need to bite the bullet and refuse to give him milk.
