My DD has just turned 6 months old. She sleeps about 3 - 3.5 hours in the day usually over 3 naps, one in the morning, one before or after lunch depending on how tired she is, and one in the late afternoon. Her nap times are less predictable than I would like, but she's just started to extend them past the dreaded 45 minutes!
I try not to let her sleep past 5 then she goes down for the night by 7pm, waking between 6 and 7 the next morning. She is quite a sleepy baby though.

DS just turned 5mo. He sleeps about 2.5 hours duing the day, spread over 4 naps usually...some are 30 mins in length, others are 45 mins.

At night he usually goes down to be between 6.30-7.30pm depending on what time he had his last nap. He has a dream feed at 10pm, and then usually wakes once or twice in the night...if we leave him to fuss for a few mins he quite often goes back to sleep or if not we pop his dummy in and he sleeps then.

He wakes up between 6 and 7 on a good day. On a bad day it is more like 0515.

That's great thanks. My LO seems to want longer in the day. 2 hours in the morning an hour and a half at lunch and then another hour at tea time. He goes to bed about 7.30 wakes around 1 for a feed then up at 6.30. We do have a few wakings between the feed and getting up time but normally dummy is enough to send him back off. Thanks. Good to know what others of the same age are doing x
