I know she's too young at the moment but I'd like some tips on when and how to establish a good nap and bedtime routine. When I say routine, I don't mean a schedule, just a pattern that will keep baby happy.
Dc1 was a rubbish sleeper, I just went with the flow. This time round I want to do better!

Loads will say its too young and I agree, but with both mine at about 5/6 weeks I started with a bath/feed/bed routine from about 6.00pm in the hope of weeks passing by getting them to bed by 7.30pm. It worked (better with DS2 but he wasn't a cluster feeder) Prior to that age both were in Moses basket downstairs till we went to bed. With naps at that age, I went on the premise of whenever/however but to try to build a routine of naps in the cot, worked on the basis of baby being awake no longer then 2 hours before being put in Bed for a nap

Gina's good for timings, DS apparently read her book, but not until he was about 5mo...

I woke my dd (my second) at the same time every morning so automatically she would nap at roughly the same times every day and want the same bedtime every day. She ended up in a routine a lot quicker than my first as a result!
