My ds is 7 weeks old and these past couple of weeks on a night time he's gone 5/6 hours before feeding, falling asleep and waking again 3.5/4 hours later for his next feed. But recently he has been waking after 6 hours, feeding and then waking again after an hour of being put down, and he is very difficult to settle. He has colic but he is bottle fed on comfort milk and sometimes we give a drop of Infacol before feeds too. I'm not sure whats happened for him to have started doing this - I've just picked him up again and he's asleep on my shoulder now! Ideas please?! Thanks!

nothing's happened as such.
he has just changed the way he sleeps
babies are constantly developing, both body and brain, and big/little developmental spurts over the weeks/months mean that they can change their "routine".
he is still so tiny, you will have to just go with the flow for a while. He may go back to his old "routine" - but more than likely, this is the new normal.
Then the next developmental spurt will happen and things will change again 
(just when you thought you could relax....)
it is just the way babies are - nowt you can do about it

Ok thanks, at least I know it's not just me and I've done something wrong! Can u tell I'm new to all of this
