7 months in - desperation - permanent silent lightshow?

dd2 will not bloody sleep. On my bloody knees.

The best she's ever slept was a month ago on holiday. She was shoved in a travel cot in an office and woke twice for feedings and went straight back to sleep afterwards. We have bought the same travel cot and are trying that out this weekend.

The other thing was that the room was very light - it had slanted shutters and no curtains and a street light was right outside - so it was light with a pattern on the ceiling from the shutters. Is there a silent light show that goes all night? It's not about getting her to sleep but helping her drift off when she stirs in the night minus interaction from me...

Help me...

We have a BT 250 baby monitor (fab by the way) - its not the latest model - I remember the latest one did boast of a light display it projects onto the wall - but it was expensive - look it up on Amazon. Good luck xx

Thanks. That's a bit more money than I was looking to spend. I've gone with a thirteen pound colour changing led thing for now. I'll update if it works!

pomme - . No advice but lots of sympathy. DD slept best when we were on holiday with my parents a month ago and then it all went to shut. Have been trying to recreate everything to no avail. At my parents again this weekend and the magic seems to have been lost..:(. Hope you find the silver bullet.

Can you open the window a crack and get some air in? also yes to white noise.

TBH it was probably because she was so busy and it wore her out! Was she outside a lot?

Hi all, nice to see (?) you again such! Nap times/food pretty similar.

She was indeed outside a lot - beach in the morning, harbour in the evening, restaurants at lunch.

Had not really considered it being anything other than the room . Dd1 was one of those magic sleeping babies so this is a shock...
