Has anyone used cranio sacreal therapy to help sleep?

My daughter is 18 months and has rarely slept all night (apart from about 5 nights). She has had many issues like reflux, eczema, dislocated hip (needing body cast and then brace) and I know these have all contributed to poor sleep patterns. We also still feed her a bottle during the night because she screams until she gets it. (I know, I know, we aren''t helping ourselves and she shouldnt be getting a bottle at this stage.) She has just had it so hard.

I just DONT have the energy or desire to do controlled crying but am beginning to feel we are going to have to.

Was just wondering if anyone has used cranio sacreal therapy to help with sleep? I know they say that they can help but I dont want to waste money. Experience welcome.

We used it on my DD when she was 2 weeks old as she was just miserable. A couple of treatments worked wonders and she went from a wailing anxious baby to one who was far more content. I used it again when she was about 4 weeks old and it really did help her sleep. Apparently her neck was a little tight and where the pressure was affects their sleep rythyms.

I would not be without it. My daughter was also in a brace too and I went for a session after it was removed, just to make sure her systems were okay.

I think it depends on who you see, but my person specialises in children.

Have booked her in next week and will see what happens! Fingers crossed. If all else fails, controlled crying will be my last resort!
