Any recommendations for a 'Girls Away' Ski weekend?

A friend and I have tentatively discussed having a 'Girls Ski Weekend' away (just the two of us).

I know we could just book into a chalet together etc, but I wondered if anyone had any experience of specific 'Women's Ski weekend' packages

I was thinking stuff like:

  • extra comfy, pampering chalet
  • female (or cute, fit young bloke?) ski host who leads us a female-friendly style & pace (i.e. appropriate vin chaud stops breaks)

We're 40+ mums, and wouldn't likely be looking for a lot of nightlife!

I'd book a nice hotel with full spa facilities rather than a chalet, loads in Austria and easier to book for a weekend rather than a chalet. You'd easily find a suitable ski guide via the local ski school. I'll come back with some suggestions later .
What part of the country would you fly from?

well i'd fly from manchester/birmingham if you can do that!
i suggested this to my husband and going with my sister. he was upset, and said couldn't he go with me instead (it would be more fun i agree). we went to verbier for 5 days, caught the train, it was fab.

I'd fly Liverpool - Innsbruck with Easyjet, out on a Friday and return on a Sunday. Get the bus from the airport to central station (runs every 15 mins, cost 1.70 euro). You then have loads of choice to get to local resorts. Easiest is to get the train to Seefeld (36mins). Loads of spa style hotels to chose from.
