Esprit/Neilson/Mark Warner/Inghams etc is the best?

Looking to go in February 2020 but which one with a built in children's ski school is the best?

I liked MW but their ski school starts at 9am (sounds too early)

So far Esprit looks good with the activities their offer for children (and they start at 10am). I also like the look of Obergurgl in Austria.

Ours are 8 and 11 and can ski independently.

We have used esprit the last 2 years with dc aged 5 and 3, then 6 and 4. They loved it, but they are very sociable kids. It was an early start, but we just got them into their gear and off they went with the staff. We stayed in alp d’huez which was lovely and sunny both visits and used the BAT weeks to keep costs down.

Pretty much all ski schools start early, maybe 9.30, but PM lessons are less common

have you looked in to Club Med.
Would definitely recommend, and the overall price is a lot nicer.

lol :-) not for Club Med...
when you add all the extras with esprit ski for the kids it normally ends up more expensive than Club Med.

Going against the grain... at 8 and 11 I would say that your kids are too old for Esprit. I love Esprit and we went with them for 4-5 consecutive years but once our eldest was 9 she was noticeably older than most of the other children.
If they are good skiers then you just need decent lessons (can recommend New Generation - 4 hr lessons (hence skiing for you!). Then ski/chill out together in afternoon.

At 8 and 11 my DC were the oldest kids in Esprit and they hated it. I agree ClubMed can be a good option when you compare the total overall cost, lunch on the mountain is included too.

Depends on your budget... was fortunate enough to go to whistler and the ski school kids there looked like they were having a really good time, huge resort so loads of age ranges from 3-19.

Thank you thank you all of you! Apologies for not coming back sooner!

Good point about them being the oldest in the kids club. It hadn't occurred to me. It's a moot point now as we have booked a ski trip to my native Finland. It's just worked out a lot cheaper, even if we book DC into private lessons every day.

I did plan to look up the above tour operators early next year for Feb 21 but there's no point now as DC will definitely be too old! They would love an evening club of some sort with similar aged kids though, does any of those exist?
