Hi, does anyone have experience of these please? I want to take dd skiing in feb half term but am a bit unsure about going into a chalet that will be full of 2 parent families. I was wondering if a single parent holiday like mango would be a better idea? Any experiences of doing it either way would be great please.

Hi onoroff, the first time we did the chalet option and being the only single parent there was really not a nice feeling. Ever since then I have hired apartments or ski lodges for just us and it has been so much easier, then we meet up with people for meals or socialising seperately. I looked at the mango holidays, but it worked out as double the cost of our holidays so couldn't really run to it. This way I can take DS for 2 weeks over Xmas/New Year and 2 weeks over Easter, for the same money as half term smile

Esprit usually have really good deals for single parents with one child. I don't think anyone would make you feel un-nice there.

I have just booked another holiday with le ski in la tania (went last year for the first time) I am single with 6&7 year olds. I never felt awkward and the childcare and ski school were great. Pm me if you want details :-)
Good luck.
