Anyone been to Meribel with Mark Warner or Espirit?

Oh dear! I just put this question on the wrong thread (short haul). I'm new to this. I think I'm in the right place now.

We're thinking of going to Meribel over the Christmas holidays with our DD (5). She's our only child so having some sort of kids club is great for her to hang out with other children. Club Med looks really expensive, but Mark Warner or Espirit seem better. I was just wondering if anyone had been there and stayed with either of these companies? Any advice would be great....Thanks.

We have been to meribel three times with esprit and are going back this season again. The hotel is in a great location.

the mark warner hotel is above the main resort in a smaller resort area called mottaret - still has restaurants and bars and shops but not Meribel central.

the hotel is ski in ski out

we used the kids clubs when our kids were non skiers and it was great - english nannies and lots of children. all seemed happy.

the hotel is very relaxed - just mark warner clients - with a large lounge area and restauarant.

we really enjoyed it and nearly went back this year. going to a different mw resort instead.

only slight not of caution is that kids don't eat with adults in the evenings and at 5 am not sure she's old enough to join the kids evening club so she might have to be in room upstairs while you eat. they do have baby listening (where nannies check to see if there are any noises coming from any rooms) and also our baby monitor worked - might be worth double checking?

sorry, just checked the mw site - lookds like my evening worry is nonsense - all kids can go into the evening kids club while you have dinner - watching dvds or sleeping - sounds like fun.

Sorry I didn't check this for a while! Thanks a lot for your advice/experience. Still haven't made the jump to book it, but just about to.
