Reversing accidently bookmarked post

Is there a way to remove the Bookmark I have accidently pressed while scrolling down through a thread?

It is a long running thread so I would like it not to keep returning to that post if possible.

If you still following that thread then just put in a new bookmark in further down the thread each time you've read the next set of posts. This cancels out the previous one.

You can move the bookmark to wherever you do want to go to when you open the thread, the OP, for example. I usually just bookmark the last post I’ve read so that I can start the thread where I left off every time. To be honest I’ve never understood why anyone doesn’t use the bookmark facility to do this.

On the desktop site, clicking on a new bookmark tab further down the thread will effectively remove the previous one. Or you can just bookmark the opening post.

On the app, you can just tap on the bookmark icon to remove it.
