Hiding threads started by a specific OP

Is it possible to auto-hide threads started by a specific OP in the same way that we can hide a whole topic?

I know some posters have asked for this function but I don’t think MNHQ are willing to do it.

It becomes a bit too obvious if that person is on a thread, that you have blocked them as such, and MNHQ don’t want that sort of drama

It doesn't as the only person who would know is the person who has blocked another poster,no one else would. Worked perfectly well on another site I was on.

Why would you want to? Can't you just ignore them?

There is no drama, everyone else can see the post and the blocked user can post on your threads if they wish. You don't block the user for everyone, only MNHQ can do that! It just stops their posts showing up in the thread for you.
