How to get rid of iHeat advert

It sits right next to where I'm typing, flashing black & white continuously. I've tried closing it & saying I don't want to see it again for every reason in the menu, but it immediately comes back again. It's appalling. I've had to resort to making the text H-U-G-E to get it off the screen while I type.
