Lots of threads are about cats going missing/food/litter, it might be really helpful in terms of a quick guide reference

Hello, fellow cat-lovers! Happy to listen to all ideas of course but first we need to ask what the sticky would be resolving for you. We can see the urgency of cats going missing but when it comes to food etc experience suggests people like to dive in and start threads often before reading stickies. Any help on this would be great, thanks.

Because it's always the same advice and that advice is hidden away amongst numerous threads.

One sticky could contain the collective wisdom of the Litter Tray, easily accessible. A one stop advice point at the point you need advice urgently.

It won't stop the support threads.

(And could contain info on cat fencing and future prevention etc)

I'm referring to cats going missing etc, rather than food/ litter etc.

Like a litter tray FAQ?

I guess in terms of food it would be mainly just as high a % of meat content as possible.

Litter, not to flush poos down loo, bad for the environment. Cats try to mask the scent of bleach. I'll ask Otters if she has time to comment on this, as she posts missing cat advice quite frequently.

Wet food only and ditch the dry...

I agree with FAQs - the sort that is not debatable? Or showing both sides of the argument..

Are there are any more of you that would like to see a litter tray FAQ? If we have enough call for it, we can certainly ask for this to be considered. Flowers

I certainly think a sticky for what to do if your cat goes missing would be helpful.
I'm not sure about food as there are a lot of differing opinions about that.

Makes sense, Vinrosso. We're open to suggestions, so keep 'em coming!
