When threads are deleted

When threads are deleted are they always trolls? There have been a lot lately. Can't tell half the time whether it's because the OP was a troll or because it kicked off and got too fighty (I mean when you start reading, see lots of posts already deleted, and next thing the whole thread has gone)

Hi Yogafire,

The deletion message should explain why the thread was pulled.
Is there one?

Often I don't see any deletion message Just's pop up saying 'this thread has been deleted'.

How is it known also? I was just reading a thread about someone & their FIL, whilst I'd prefer to think that wasn't real I'm curious as to how it was detected / so swiftly removed?

There are no deletion messages on the app. Is it possible to change this please?

We don't like to comment on the full info as it could well be read as 'A Guide To Trolling' but yes, that one was zapped as we suspected the OP wasn't all that she claimed to be.

I'm usually on the app.
Altho when I see the deletion msg doesn't it usually just say message deleted see mumsnet talk guidelines or something similarly non-descriptive?
So it's not just trolling threads then.
