What is going on?
On iPhone, on safari. Different font and weird emojis taking the place of links everywhere. Wasn't like that 20mins ago.

Hi Olivialoves,

How odd - could you refresh and let us know if it still appears?

I had refreshed and even closed down safari and re opened before posting and it appeared several times but doesn't appear now.
Is it my phone or the site?

Im not mumsnet obv, but it's caused by if the font used for the icons doesn't load, for whatever reason, sometimes the device will load its default icons instead (in this case apple emojis) in its place

Ah, thanks Dustybath! Let us know if it continues OliviaLoves - tech are having trouble replicating it as it disappears too quickly.

NP - I had to look at it recently on a project I'm doing so I feel like the font of all knowledge on why glypicons are replaced with emojis occasionally Grin

hi Katherine.
Not happened again so that's good Smile

However the site does keep crashing every few minutes on my laptop (MacBook, on safari)
It's just browsing mum set that does it.
I've got AdBlocker installed- is that the problem? Not impressed if so, find the huge ads surrounding threads very distracting.

Hi Olivialoves,

Thanks for letting us know, our tech lot are aware of this and are looking into it at the mo. We don't believe Adblocker is causing it but there's likely to be an update on this thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/site_stuff/2889537-Pages-keep-reloading
so do keep an eye.
