Breaking the talk guidelines

"This thread has been deleted by MNHQ for breaking our Talk Guidelines" was the message I just read on a thread I was on. I have read the thread (and the talk guidelines). I can't see how it broke them. Is this code for something else? Is this the message used for a thread started by a pbp maybe?

I believe it's code for trolling.

Thank you. So the thread was bullshit then. Hrumph. It sounded so real.

It can also be used if it's overtly or covertly trying to get market research data or commercial promotion of any goods or services without going through MNHQ (for which fees are quite rightly payable which help keep MN free). But I imagine from OP's second post that it was the "posting made-up bullshit to get an emotional response" category this time.
