Annoying Facebook style ad

Hi this annoying flashing ad keeps appearing at the top of the page. I almost clicked on it which is obviously what they want people to do out of instinct.

It's the message part that flashes red and white btw.

This annoys me too. With MN being the same colours as Facebook, it's easy to think you're on FB and click on it.

It's irritating and doesn't seem particularly reputable either. What is it even advertising?
