I have a very long commute and finally got a decent phone that I can get downloads on, so had a thought today which I thought I'd inflict on you

Has MN ever considered producing podcast episodes?

I was thinking something following the format of studio debates like the moral maze or a studio debate like the big questions.

There's a wealth of subject matter and contributors to the site and forums so I reckon taking the lead from popular subjects and inviting MN members to take part in a discussion would make the content fairly self generating.

Obviously there would be editing concerns, but I think it's possible to do it by phone like the world service run their have your say programme.

I love debate and analysis programmes/radio/tv and think it'd appeal to loads of people...

Thanks v much for suggesting this to us, it's an interesting idea and one we've thought about in the past - how would translate into a podcast I wonder?

What do other folks think of this? Would you be interested in a MN podcast?
