Can we have a log in and a new post space at the end of a thread

even if you aren't logged in? I just find having to go to a separate page to log in annoying and would prefer it I could post at the end of a thread and log in at same time.

Not the end of the world either way but would find it easier

If you mean what I think you mean , we used to have that.
You could compose your post first and then log in to post it.

I don't always log in just to catch up, I just lurk my way around reading various threads.

But if you want to post, then you have to log in before even being able to compose a post.

You just need to tick "keep me logged in" and then your computer will always remember you.

It means you can use "Threads I'm On" as well.

I think you could type your post but not actually simultaneously log in before, it still took you to another page frustefanlinman, although now you can't even type the post you have to log in then go back.


I know trilian but I can't stay logged in because I am using a shared computer.

Sorry, I should have said I'm aware of "keep me logged in" - but I don't do it.

And if I want to go to TIO, then obviously I have to log in.

But I'm slightly confused by the 'other page' though babynamesgr.

I remember it clearly because I use Opera, Firefox and Chrome almost equally (hardly ever use MS Internet Explorer) and Opera always seemed to show them all the time, so I stopped using it for MN.

I noticed it as a major pain when using my Nokia N80 (old mobile with wi-fi) as I had installed Opera Mini (or similar name) which is a Java application, and it was visible and a pain on that.

I might give Opera a go tomorrow and see if the boxes are all still being displayed!
