It's just annoying now - I have come back on after the upgrade - seriously, 20 seconds and i'm already pissed off with that bar at the top that keeps appearing for no reason at the top of each page i click on!

why do you have to do it?????

I have a head full of revision and am now very confused.

It's very annoying - I can't move the mouse around without it popping up something elsse they think I migth want to click on.

I don't like that bar at the top that follows me down the page - I click on the X in the corner, and it goes, but then the next page I go to, it's there again.

Option to disable in Customize required please!

(i never log out, so why would I want a "logout" option following me around????)

It's because mn is getting too big now. All big companies do this don't they? Change for change's sake. When no-one else ever wants it - Corus, Consignia. l

I wouldn't mind if the bar at the top was useful, but it's logout, search, print and facebook/twitter.

none of those things do I want to click on if i'm here.
I have another tab I can open if I want to go to facebook.

I dont get it, it doesnt even work, I clicked on active convo's from the top bar in there was an error so i had to start again. I dont like to whinge love to but if it doesnt work than why bother

I keep switching it off and then it just reappears again. I don't do linking to the Real World

The new search is useless, previous one with choice of "mumsnet" search or "google" search was much more practical and useful.

Or Maybe it is just me who does not know how to use it? If it is going to take me 3 days to be able to use MN again I will just give up.

Damian's done a wuick fix to stop the bar if you click on it.

I don't know if it's permanent though (and he said it'll come back next session)

i don't mind the bar, however i would LOVE it if 'post message' was above or to the side of the message box again. it's driving me nuts having to scroll down to post...

Really really really don't like the sticky bar that sits at the top of the page and follows me as I scroll down. Please make it go away. Completely.

I like the sticky bar, but don't like the big LOG OUT button. It makes me feel guilty. Did my DH tell you to do that?

Can you exchange it for a Threads I'm On button?

I hate that sticky bar too, because if you do a search on a name/topic in a thread, the searched name comes to the top of the screen. Unfortunately underneath the bar. So in order to see what popped up, you have to kill the bar. Again and again.

If you are looking for one work rather than a username in a topic, and it's a word that is part of a common word, you can come up with oodles and it's such a pain that it's hidden under the bar!

Also, if you have a very small screen display, it takes up too darn much room!

May we have a permanent option to switch it off please? I want more room on my netbook display not less!
