WHY can't we go to our last post on a thread?

I'm sick of scrolling through pages and pages of drivel salient points just because I had the audacity to get up and go to the toilet for five minutes.

Please tell me why we can't just pick up a thread from the last time we posted on it?

You can bookmark your last post, TethHearseEnd.

Look in Customise/Other Options and click the option to Display Bookmark Links...

I still want to know why you can't do this in classic?
