School places admission advice pls?

For various reasons I need to apply for school places at this stage.

Does anyone know if i'd need to use the Common Application form (closing date last Oct)?

Or the In Term admission form?

Does it just depend on the County? (its Northumberland btw)
Council website shut and want to get forms in post tomorrow?

If you repost on the Primary or Secondary Education boards there are lots of knowledgable posters who will be able to help.

Would depend on the local authority, but the forms should be easily searchable on the county website. Last years common application forms may not still be available online as the applications have closed/

Oh I see the council website is down. In that case no idea.

I would call your local admissions team. We had to do this last year and they posted a form, which we then returned. It was a similar format, but the online system had closed.

If secondary probably an In Year application but for y7 this September the LA may still be accepting late ones. Can you check their website?

Eldest moving from Middle Skl Y8 to High skl Y9.
Youngest moving from MS Y6 to High skl Y7 (they shut the MS)

Just had a look at website and think you will need to call them as it suggests not In Year form for year 7 entry but no alternative is online. Was dc1 due to move anyway? Has LA not been involved in transfer of pupils if school is closing and put a process in place?

No, no transfer put in place.
High School has not come in and spoken to Y8 at all. Its a shambles.
Y8 kid is ASD and dyslexic. Meeting at current school arranged so we could ask Qu's. Neither High Skl or Cyps turned up.

And my circs have also meant i've not applied early enough.
