Just wondering what websites your teenagers use for revising subjects online for KS3 - my ds uses BBC Bitesize and Educationquizzes. End of year exams are starting soon and just wondering if there are any other free and fun interactive websites that we haven’t come across.

DD2 is y8.

We use BBC bitesize for science, I like the videos and the quizzes.
Though to be honest I prefer books and we use the CGP science one.

We would also use the CGP maths one - neither DD nor I get on well with 'mymaths' that the school provides (though I can see it is very good) - but I just do it with DD myself.

I really liked the BBC drama revision site.

The other subjects are so topic dependent, we just use resources provided by school.

Corbett Maths is great - topics listed alphabetically, with an accompanying video and practice questions and answers for each.
Khan Academy has videos for science and maths resources.
Primrose Kitten is another science one, as is Doc Brown's, and the Amoeba Sisters on youtube.
Timeforgeography has good videos.
Ducksters is maybe a little compact, but has videos, info and quizzes - good for quick revision to establish essential facts.

He’s got plenty of the cgp books at home, just wants to mix it up a bit - I think he has a tendency to glaze over a bit of reliant on books unfortunately. He’s fine with the sciences and maths, just looking to cover the subjects he doesn’t find as easy or interesting - languages, history etc
