not sure what you mean - there isn't a general "recommended reading list"? Are you looking for recommendations of books suitable for particular ages, or are you looking fora particular school?

School produced their own list for year 7/8 pretty much all the classics, Alice in Wonderland, Little Women, Little house on the prairie, Little princess, Dog so small, Secret Garden, Tom's midnight Garden etc.

Boy In The Striped Pyjamas, and Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time are often on Year 7 book lists. As is The London Eye Mystery.
I know that The Firework Maker's Daughter is on the Year 4 list at the school where I volunteer.
Some primary schools put their recommended reading lists on their website, but you would have to google it. Secondary schools may do this too, but I have never personally come across it.

For year 7, DD's school recommended anything in the Carnegie medal long/shortlist.

As I posted on another thread about reading recommendations for 12 year old girl, these are some of what my own daughter has read over Year 7 and 8

Seed by Lisa Heathfield
The Smell of Other People’s Houses by Bonnie Sue Hitchcock
Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys
The Bone Sparrow by Zana Fraillon
Apache by Tanya Landman
Lies we Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley
One by Sarah Crossan
The Weight of Water by Sara Crossan
Call the Midwife by Jennifer Worth

These are all books my recently turned 13 daughter has read in the last year. Also I believe The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas has been winning awards for YA fiction recently, so worth a go.
