How did we get here so fast?

A minute ago I had this squishy screamy baby and later this week he’s going along to a secondary school to meet his teachers and get his uniform fitted.

I’m not sure whether to cry with happiness (very pleased about his school) or feel weepy that my little one is all grown now.



How did it go that quickly??? Anyone else feeling this?

Just you wait - 30 seconds ago I had a brand new year 7, and now she's about to take her GCSEs & has had her 6th form college interview . . .

My shiny new Y7 is already a fully formed blasé worldly wise high schooler. The changes are drastic in many ways. Y7 is the fastest school year so far and I can’t believe we’re past the half way mark already!

I firmly believe it speeds up every school year and I dong like it
