Starting secondary school

Hi, can anyone recommend any books with tips for a shy and nervous daughter who has just started secondary school in Year 7 and is having problems settling in? Thank you

I would be more inclined to let her tutor know. There may be quiet spaces she can go and clubs she doesn't know about. They may buddy her up with someone else. Tutors can also offer a bit of daily support and be someone to confide in if she isn't happy.
