Are GL assessment NVR papers for 11 plus hard?

My dd gets much better marks on the Bond assessment ones but her eleven plus is set by GL assessment. Panicking a bit. Does anyone have experience of this?

Bond should be seen as laying the foundation. GL are much more difficult and closer to the actual 11 plus exams. Does somewhat depend on the type of Gramnar exams she is sitting though.

Please do away with the Bonds
If your ddnexam is set by GL then time should be spent familiarising GL papers as Bonds are nowhere near the level or style of the real exams. My Ds sat 11+ in North London and I genuinely believe the only reason he passed was because we used GL

Would echo the others - GL is harder than Bond. Look at the elevenplusexams forum. There will be a section in the discussion forum on your area. Timing is very tight for GL NVR. You should be aiming to complete each question in 20-30 seconds.

Thanks for the replies. Do you think the actual test is as hard as the ones in the pack? So much pressure for them poor things.

Honestly? No, the actual test my DS sat was slightly harder than the GL assessment papers. However, I think they are the best prep alongside any past papers provided by schools.
