DS has places at KGS and Whitgift, we're tearing ourselves apart trying to decide which is best.

Whitgift slightly more expensive.

Describe your ds's journey to each school.

Can your ds get home direct from Ditton Field (KGS sports ground)? They do bus them back however, most do that.

Thank you guys. Such brilliant support.
Amida - have you accepted your DD's KGS place? Yes, DS could get back from Ditton Field on the train.
The Whitgift journey gives a lot of pause for thought, but it's such an amazing school and Mr Beck (the Admissions chief) absolutely "got" DS, who is all boy ...
We have one more to hear about - City - on Friday.

not yet, but will do before end of half term.

at this stage if you can't decide i would really go with your gut instinct and/or whichever one your ds wants. school is school at the end of the day, there'll be times when he's miserable, make sure he has taken ownership of his choice!

Thanks, Amida. That's a good point that there will be times when he's miserable, whatever he does.

He says he wants City (another urban school with faraway playing fields) ... but it's much harder to get into than the other two.
