Does anyone have any direct experience of Central Foundation School for Boys in Islington? My son is in year and we're about to have to prioritise our schools. I was impressed by my visit, as well as their excellent results. Beyond Ofsted and the DFE information there is very little available about the atmosphere, culture, style of the school. Are there any parents out there who can let me know what their child's experience of the school has been? Thanks.

I am in exactly the same position. Absolutely love the school. Results are phenomenal, head is passionate and engaging, teaching staff were incredible and ofsted outstanding in all areas. Many of my friends say they would not hesitate to send their boys if they were in catchment but I'm lacking feedback from anyone with first hand experience.

Any luck with feedback? I've seen met a few parents with very lovely bright boys there. They've all had high praise for the school and gave me confidence to put it first. Also in catchment for mossbourne, Haggerston and Highbury grove but they didn't come close for me.
