We've looked around the school and are thinking of sending our academically average daughter there. She will sit the entrance exam in January, but we have no idea of how hard it will be and what it will consist of. Can anyone shed any light on what it consists of and at what level it is pitched.

Thanks in advance.

It's not so hard going the exam, interview tells them whether or not your daughter would make a good AHS girl. My D was there from 3 to 16, primary years felt frustrating but secondary was worth every penny, under the watchful eye of Mrs Lewis the then Head. She's driven, happy, confident and has a bag full of fab GCSE results. You won't regret it. Good luck
