It congratulates him on his excellent academic progress this first term of Y8, excelling both academically and with his "mindset grades" and for settling so well. Shock

I could cry. Last year was such a rough ride.

I just wanted to share. Wine

I think it's a lovely touch getting a 'well done' card home from school. Makes it all the more special when it's out of the blue.

Well done mini Quint

What a nice thing to receive. Well done to your Ds. I had a phonecall from ds's humanities teacher in a similar vein. Ds was so chuffed as calls home in primary were to complain about him. I got a bit misty eyed as she praised him.

That's brilliant! Well done to your DS and all of you - group effort, I'm sure.

Quint I hope he enjoys what is a well deserved accolade after all that happened. It must help reassure you that the school was worth sticking with.

Aw, that's lovely news.
dds' school used to send postcards to tell you these things, but they stopped them a couple of years back Sad.
I understand there's a cost attached, but it's SUCH a nice thing to get through the post.
Well done to your ds, and well done to the teacher for taking time to do it Smile

Oh how lovely :) I'm glad things are turning around for him.

I was expecting this to be a 'Hmm Is this weird?' very pleased it isn't!
