Relocating from country to London

After 11 years in Sussex we're moving back to London with 2 boys now 12 and 16. Looking at schools for 12 year old (year 9 entry 2015) around Kew /Richmond. Must be coed. Any suggestions? Have thought of Kew House but concerned as it hasn't a track record. DS bright but not hugely so.

Are you looking for state or private. For year 9 state you would be looking at Christs Richmond ofsted good, Richmond Park academy lots of positive reviews on mums net. Grey court in Ham Ofsted outstanding on he way up. And Orleans park in Twickenham also Ofsted outstanding
Private. RadnorHouse in twickenham is coed. Knew green has just opened a senior park. Chiswick knew borders. Kids from the area also travel to latymer upper in hammersmith and St Benedict's ealing . Oh yes Kingston grammar is very well thought of.
For your younger one there are a few preps in kew. State primaries you would be looking at vineyard, marshgate, knew riverside, queens and Darrell. All will be oversubscibed except maybe Darrell. People in the area do move around though so places in oversubcribed schools do come up

Sorry ignore the primaries read your post as 6 year old not sixteen. Will your older one be going into year 12 or 13. All the Richmond state schools are opening sixth forms this September.
