My 10 year old has her 11+ interview at Wimbledon High School soon and would really appreciate some information!
It comprises of reading an unseen paper and questions, can anyone shed some light as to what kind of questions they will ask?? Especially if u have experience??? Will they also ask general questions?
Also I have been told if she gets asked y she wants to come to the school, she should not mention facilities, so what kind of things are they looking for?
Thanks in advance!

The system has changed this year and the interviews in previous years have been much more general (eg girls were asked to bring in an object from home to talk about)
TBH the interview counts very little towards the school's decision, as they go mainly on exam performance.
Feel free to PM me if you like.

My dd did the 11+ exam and interview at WHS last year. She had to do a drawing of something specific (design a school uniform, design a desk etc) - not looking for art ability but just ideas. She had to do an oral comprehension - read a passage aloud and then answer a couple of questions about the specific content of the passage, the meaning of 4 words picked from the passage and then a short discussion abt the subject of the passage (in her case home education). She took an item with her to talk abt - girls took anything from school cups to riding hats just to start a discussion. She then had general questions - hobbies, fav subjects at school, why WHS, what kind of animal should you like to be etc. She said that she wanted to go there because they had a swimming pool and she loved swimming. In the offer letter, they specifically said that they hoped she would join and would enjoy swimming in their pool so I think that you can happily talk about their facilities.
