Queen Elizabeth hospital labour/maternity

Question to those who have had babies at the QEUH recently..... I'm due my first baby there (hopefully) in the next 2 weeks so appreciate responses to the below.....

Is there fans in the labour suites & post natal ward? And what's the score with blankets? Do you get an actual blanket, or is it just a sheet? (For mum)
And baby blankets, I have one with my baby bag for the initial swaddling post birth. But have heard the hospital just swaddle with their blankets and you generally just keep these till you go home?

Is the ward quite hot or cold at this time of year?
