Who are you going to vote for in GE2017#2?

As far as I am co concerned, in Scotland good news abound, but not so much in the UK as a whole. Now with Brexit looming we are in a much weaker position than before and I fear that before the year is out GE2 will be inevitable. Quite frankly I dread the idea, but I don't think it can't be helped.
So the scenario is probably TM goes and she is replaced by... whom? David Davis was talked about on the TV and that would be quite a come back after losing to DC over 10 years ago.
Can Ruth keep the momentum going? Can Labour?? Will the SNP get savvy and ditch Inyref2?

I would despair but more than likely Lib Dem.

Even if the SNP now miraculously lay off the indyref2 agenda, I could never vote for them on the basis of their lack of ability to actually run the country where it matters. Also I'd never believe that it wasn't still their prime motivator and it would be bubbling away in the background just waiting for an opportune moment to ram it down our throats again. I'd stick to my Tory vote...while TM isn't exactly inspiring, I really like Ruth....Even more so in her response to the DUP arrangement.... she's showing that she has the strength to stand up to her own party in Westminster and to the SNP in Scotland as a more centerist leader. Labour plans, however lovely, are not remotely affordable and will lead to another almighty crash. Lib dem I could see myself voting for but I don't agree with another brexit referendum so that rules them out. Green is out due to Indy position and I don't even think they have a candidate in my area.
I'm just hoping we don't have to go through all this again any time soon!

Indeed, baffled. Look at the cover of the National today... There again, just like UKIP, the reason for the existence of the SNAP is one and only one, so we can't be surprised.

There again, we can have a sweepstake on how long this government is going to last. I call for a new leader around November and an election before Christmas.

I just wonder if anyone has the guts to pick up from TM given where we are with Brexit. I think whoever leads us through Brexit is in for a terrible ride. My prediction will be TM stays for Brexit then will be ousted after all the hard work is done. Let's face it....nobody is going to be able to agree a deal that the UK will be happy with so she will be fall guy....do the necesssary then someone will swoop in once whatever deal is agreed, she will lose leadership challenge and her replacement will get the glory of 'fixing' things up in time for the next GE in 2021/22!
I'll go for 2 years in your sweep Smile

I'm all for putting Scottish Conservatives in charge of the UK Conservatives, Scottish LibDems in charge of UK LibDems and Scottish Labour in charge of UK Labour.

To that end I've updated my tactical voting analysis in readyness for GE2. Con tacticals are: Perth and North Perthshire, Edinburgh SW, Edinburgh N and Leith, Central Ayrshire and Argyll and Bute.

Only 2 votes in it for LibDems to win Fife NE

Everything else looks to be tactical Labour and kind of annoyed at all the people who mistakenly voted Tory rather than Labour to send a message to SNP in lots of Central Belt seats.

Voting Tory worked fine in the Stirling and Clackmannanshire seats.

I don't think we will get a rerun. They need to concentrate on brexit with 20 months to go.

I can't bear the thought of a rerun but seat is back where it should be with the Lib Dems.
